Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) announced its new cohort on LinkedIn: 12 companies, all working on what BGV calls “positive outcomes for people and planet”. We're proud that Noticed is one of them.

Dominic Markham, our CEO and Co-Founder, said: “This is a huge milestone for us as we join Europe's leading early-stage tech for good VC and continue our mission to tackle lost learning in schools.”

Why BGV

BGV's tech-for-good focus is a natural fit for our mission. Everything we build at Noticed is about making sure students who miss learning can keep up, without adding to the pressure on teachers.

BGV describes Noticed like this: “A student who misses even a few days of school can return to dozens of missed learning objectives, and without a clear picture of exactly what was taught, that gap tends to widen rather than close. Noticed is an AI platform closing knowledge gaps from absence or in-lesson disengagement without adding to the teacher's workload.”

The problem we're solving

Every lesson a student misses covers learning objectives they then have to pick up on their own. When nothing follows up, those small gaps grow wider over time. Noticed shows exactly what each student missed and gives them what they need to keep up.

Joining BGV builds on the momentum from earlier this year, when Noticed won Let Teachers SHINE 2026.

What's next

Noticed was founded by Dominic Markham, Ben Austen and Tara Markham. Looking ahead, Dominic said: “We've made a huge amount of progress over the last year, but there is still so much we want to achieve. Having the backing, experience and network of the BGV team behind us as we enter our next stage of growth is something we're incredibly excited about.”

Our focus stays the same: making sure students who miss lessons get the support they need to keep up, and teachers aren't left carrying the extra work.

Thank you

Dominic also thanked “…all the brilliant teachers, advisors and investors who have backed us, challenged us and helped us get to this stage. We're incredibly grateful to have such fantastic people supporting us.”

Our thanks, too, to the team at Bethnal Green Ventures for choosing Noticed, and to programme partners Vestd and HSBC Innovation Banking. You can read more in BGV's LinkedIn announcement and on the BGV blog.
