Noticed is built for UK secondary schools. Students use it to see and recover what they have missed; teachers use it to spot gaps and set catch-up work without extra admin; and senior leaders get whole-school dashboards, progress tracking across cohorts, and Ofsted-ready reports.

Keep-up worksheets are short, evidence-informed tasks generated from your school's own curriculum materials, targeted at the exact learning objectives a student missed. Because each worksheet is matched to specific objectives rather than whole lessons, students only work on what they actually missed — and completion is tracked automatically so nothing slips through.

No — Noticed supports students who were present as well as those who were absent. For students marked present, it helps spot and address missed learning within lessons, surface misconceptions early, and consolidate learning after every lesson. For absent students, it shows exactly what was missed and provides a clear catch-up path. Teachers can also add lesson resources that are available to every student, absent or not.

Lost learning is the teaching a student misses when they are not at school, engaged in the classroom or participating in their education. Noticed tackles it at the curriculum level: identifying the specific objectives each student missed and generating targeted keep-up worksheets to close the gap before it compounds.

Yes. Noticed produces curriculum-linked reports showing which objectives students missed, what catch-up work was set, and whether it was completed. That gives schools a systematic evidence trail for how they identify and close knowledge gaps from absence — the kind of process inspectors ask about.

Yes. Noticed processes school data in line with UK GDPR. Your school remains the data controller and Noticed acts as data processor, working only on your instructions under a signed Data Processing Addendum. Student data is stored in the UK, is never used for marketing, and is never sent to AI providers.

Yes. Noticed is Cyber Essentials Plus certified (February 2026), and data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We process data in line with UK GDPR, and we can share our Data Processor Assurance Pack — covering hosting, access controls and retention — on request.

Student and school data is stored in the United Kingdom, in London. We select UK or EU processing wherever possible; where a supplier processes limited technical metadata outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. Noticed processes the data needed to link attendance to learning: student name, year group and class, MIS identifiers, timetable and lesson context, attendance marks, and worksheet activity such as completion and responses. Schools can choose to enable further fields. We process only high-level status flags — never case notes or medical details.

Noticed uses AI to generate keep-up worksheets from your school's own curriculum content. It prioritises your schemes of learning and curriculum as the source of truth, applies strict rules to keep content within your tier and curriculum boundaries, and runs an automated validation pass that flags any material that drifts beyond your curriculum. This significantly reduces hallucination and keeps worksheets aligned to what your school actually teaches.

No. Personal data is never sent to AI providers, and it is not used to train AI models. Noticed's AI works only from the curriculum materials your school provides — personal data and curriculum content are kept architecturally separate, a commitment set out in our Data Processing Addendum.

No. Noticed does not use AI to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on students. AI generates learning content from your school's curriculum materials, and teachers retain full control over how worksheets and insights are used. This commitment is set out in our Data Processing Addendum.

Your school chooses: at the end of a contract we either return all personal data in a commonly used electronic format or delete it, within 14 days. Deleted data may persist only in encrypted backups for a rolling 7-day restore window, after which it is gone. This is set out in our Data Processing Addendum.

Noticed integrates in two ways: a secure connection to your school's MIS for attendance and timetable data, and secure ingestion of your curriculum materials during onboarding. Your schemes of learning become the source of truth, so Noticed can map each lesson to learning objectives and generate keep-up worksheets aligned to what your school teaches.

Yes. Noticed connects to all major UK Management Information Systems (MIS), including SIMS, Arbor and Bromcom, through a secure, read-only integration. Attendance and timetable data stay in sync automatically, so there is no manual data entry or re-keying for your staff.

No — Noticed is designed to reduce teacher admin, not add to it. Worksheets are generated automatically from what was taught, missed learning is identified without manual tracking, and analysis requires no data wrangling. Teachers keep full control over how resources are used, but the heavy lifting is automated.

Setup is led by the Noticed team, so schools don't need to do the heavy lifting. During onboarding we connect your MIS, ingest your curriculum materials, and confirm everything looks right with you before going live. Timescales depend on your MIS and curriculum — contact us and we'll map it out for your school.

No separate passwords to manage — Noticed supports single sign-on with the school accounts your staff and students already use, including Google Workspace and Microsoft accounts. Access is role-based, so students, teachers and senior leaders each see only what is relevant to them.
