Analytics
We use PostHog, configured in a cookieless, anonymous mode, to understand in aggregate how visitors use our website so we can improve it. It sets no cookies, keeps no persistent identifier on your device, and doesn’t track you across sites or visits. We do not use Google Analytics. PostHog processes this data as our provider, and some data may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Who we share it with
We share data only with providers who help us run the site and our business, such as website hosting, email, and the analytics tools above. They act under contract. We may also share information where the law requires it.
Third-party embedded content
The footer of our site displays our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate using a live widget served by our certification body’s registry (BlockMark, at registry.blockmarktech.com, with its certificate image served from storage.googleapis.com). As with any web request, those hosts receive your IP address and browser type when a page loads. The widget sets no cookies, and we configure it so no information about the page you were viewing is sent to it.
How long we keep it, and your rights
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with your request and a reasonable period after, then delete it. You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise these, email hello@noticedtechnology.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Pupil and school data
When a school uses the Noticed platform, the school is the data controller for pupil and staff data and Noticed is the data processor, acting on the school’s instructions. That data is governed by our Data Processing Addendum, is stored in the UK, is not used for marketing, and is never sent to AI providers. If you are a pupil, parent or member of staff, please contact your school’s Data Protection Officer about your data. Schools can request our Data Processing Addendum and security information at hello@noticedtechnology.com.
