Cookies are small files a website stores on your device, often used to track people across sites. noticedtechnology.com is built to avoid them:we set no tracking or advertising cookies, and we store nothing on your device that isn’t essential to a feature you’re using — so there’s no cookie banner to accept or reject. This policy explains the little we do store in your browser, and why.

We use PostHog to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. It runs in a cookieless, anonymous mode: it sets no cookies, keeps no persistent identifier on your device, and doesn’t track you across sites or visits. We do not use Google Analytics.

Because nothing is stored on your device for analytics, this doesn’t require your consent under the UK’s cookie rules (PECR); we rely on our legitimate interest in improving the site. PostHog processes this aggregate data on our behalf, and some of it may be handled outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

When you watch the animated demo on our homepage, your browser remembers where you got to and whether you muted the sound using local storage— a small amount of storage in your own browser, not a cookie. It stays on your device, isn’t sent to us, and isn’t used to identify or track you. Because it’s strictly necessary for a feature you’ve chosen to use, the UK’s cookie rules (PECR) don’t require consent for it. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

The footer of our site embeds our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate as a live widget from our certification body’s registry. It sets no cookies. See our Privacy Policy for details of this third-party content.

You can delete or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Because this site sets no tracking cookies, blocking them won’t stop it working.
